Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information.

What we share

DocuHub does not sell your personal information for money. Under the CPRA's broad definition of “sharing” (which includes cross-context behavioural advertising), the following limited transfers occur:

  • Product analytics — we use PostHog to understand how the product is used. PostHog acts as our service provider and does not use the data for its own purposes. You can opt out of analytics at any time.
  • Payment processing — Razorpay and PayPal process subscription payments. We pass them only what is required to complete the transaction (name, email, billing country). They are independent controllers under their own privacy policies.
  • AI providers — Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude process the documents and prompts you submit to AI features. Both contractually agree to not retain or train on your content. See our Data Processing Agreement.

How to opt out

You have three independent ways to opt out:

  1. Click the button below. This sets a persistent “reject” preference for analytics cookies and disables non-essential data sharing.
  2. Enable Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser. We detect the GPC signal automatically and treat it as a valid opt-out request, per the California AG's 2021 enforcement guidance.
  3. Email privacy@docuhub.live with the subject line “CCPA Opt-Out”. We respond within 15 business days per CPRA timing requirements.

Your status

  • Global Privacy Control: not detected
  • Analytics opt-out: not active

Other CCPA/CPRA rights

You also have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, and share. See our Privacy Policy.
  • Access & portability — download a copy of your data from Settings → Privacy.
  • Delete your account and data, also from Settings → Privacy.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Limit use of sensitive personal information — applicable if we process Sensitive Personal Information (SPI). Today the only SPI we process is account credentials, which are necessary to provide the service and are exempt.
  • Non-discrimination — we do not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different quality of service to consumers who exercise their CCPA rights.

Authorized agent

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will require proof of authorization and verification of the consumer's identity before fulfilling the request.
